Vodafone Snowboard Urban Fest Covilhã

To celebrate the 1st edition of the “Vodafone Snowboard Urban Fest Covilhã”, Jardim do Lago, in Covilhã, was filled with lovers of snow sports, music and parties. This was the first time that a competition from the International Ski Federation (FIS) took place in Portugal. The event was part of the “Iberic Snowboard Tour” which brought together, first in Covilhã and then in Andorra, some of the best snowboarders in the world. The runway, consisting of a drive ramp and a total length of 125 meters, was covered by 200 tons of snow produced on the site.
